Leslie J. Wilson, CPA
|

Leslie has been married to Jim since 1985. She lived in the Kansas City area until 1994 when she moved to Springfield, Missouri. The move has been a positive change for her and her family. She enjoys riding on her motorcycle and being involved with Lady Cruisers of the Ozarks, a local chapter of Women on Wheels. She also loves her dog named Cam, an English Mastiff that weighs in at about 190lbs. Watch out though, she also has her conceal and carry permit because she enjoys shooting her Kimber 9mm pistol. Sometimes she may relax and just take her horse along some trails or for a casual ride or if she feels like she needs to do some cooling off she may run to the lake and race around on some jet skis with family or friends. Yes, Leslie is very active and loves being active with friends and family.
She has two sons, Michael 22, and Christopher 21. Michael graduated Devry University College in KC with a Computer Security degree and got married to Cassy Clark in 2008. Michael also plays the piano and guitar and drums and loves art. Chris, on the other hand, enjoys physical fitness. He is a certified fitness trainer and is studying to be a doctor. He recently got married to Danielle Blakeslee on January 2, 2010.
Leslie graduated from the University of Kansas with degrees in Accounting and Business Administration. She passed the CPA exam in 1987. Leslie regularly attends CPE classes to stay current with the changing laws and regulations. She occasionally conducts special classes and seminars at local colleges. She counsels many churches and small businesses in QuickBooks and other accounting software programs. Ministers are her specialty. Jim Wilson

Jim is the firm administrator.
He has several years experience in the finance industry in addition to previously managing and owning other small businesses. He currently manages the behind the scenes activities such as marketing and public relations for the CPA firm. In addition, he manages the ministerial accounting side of the business called National Church and Clergy LLC. He also helps clients with small business startup, tax consulting, debt management and marketing.
Jim has a track record of successful business practices and growth results.
He loves riding motorcycles, jet skis, horses, shooting pistols, bowling, and photography. He also has a BS degree in Pastoral Studies and plays an active part in our local church.
Jim and Leslie are also certified with the Dave Ramsey Group as Debt Consulting coaches. We truly believe that a person can live within their means and still have financial freedom.

Kerry Koone, CPA

Kerry came to work with our firm in August 2004 after 3 years with BKD. He has been a CPA for over 6 years. Kerry and his wife, Debbie, are blessed with one daughter named Bethanie and another child on the way expecting in November.
Kerry works mainly with our corporations and business clients in tax and payroll.

Sara Wilson, CPA
|
|
Sara joined our Team in August of 2002 as a tax and accounting intern. She was a student at Southwest Missouri State University and graduated in December 2005 with her masters degree in accounting.
She passed the CPA exam in November of 2006. In January 2006 she was promoted to a senior staff accountant. Sara has grown with our firm and is very proficient in bookkeeping, tax and payroll. She also assists our clients in QuickBooks consulting and training.
She is actively involved with her local church. Joshua, her husband, is a printer technician and is furthering his education in computer science. Sara enjoys reading and gardening.
Just in case you were wondering, Sara is not related to Leslie or Jim but she fits in well as part of our team family.
Also, Sara has one son named David who is now 2 years old - Congratulations!!!!

Kathy Arnold
Kathy joined our team in January of 2010: She will be working in our ministerial department assisting our churches with bookkeeping and Payroll processing and miscellaneous other clerical work.
She retired from teaching in 2006 after 26 years. She came to us most recently from a large church doing clerical/bookkeeping work.
Kathy is married to Mich Arnold, Director of Graduate Studies in Education at SBU. They have two daughters, one son in law, and a very precious granddaughter. Kathy enjoys playing piano, scrapbooking, antiquing, and playing with her grand baby!

Carmen Lambird |
Carmen joined our team in January of 2009 as a Staff Accountant. She recently graduated college at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO She is working towards her CPA in her spare time. She just recently passed one of the four parts of her CPA exam and is planning to sit for the rest later this year.
Carmen was excited to qualify for the first time home buyers credit and watched her new home being built, and is excited to be making a more permanent home different from college life here in Springfield, MO.
She will be involved in all aspects of accounting with our firm focusing on income tax preparation, bookkeeping and payroll processing. Carmen is mainly working in our ministry department dealing primarily with churhces and ministerial type clients. She is also most likely to greet you in our front door if you were to come by and visit.

Christopher Wilson |
|
Chris is our youngest son. Chris enjoys playing soccer and being physically fit. He passed the certification test to be a personal fitness trainer. He also works part time at Fed Express, Drury University in the green house dept, and at this office to earn extra money to help with schooling.
In the summer of 2006, he went to Africa on a missions trip to help out Vapor Sports Ministries. This is a Christian organization helping youth learn about Christ thru sports ministries. Check out this great ministry at www.vaporsports,org
He is currently attending Drury University taking pre-med classes with aspirations to be a Doctor. He recently sat for the MCAT tests and has already apllied for a couple medical schools.
Chris recently got married in Jan 2010 to Danielle Blakeslee, daughter of Reverend Dan Blakeslee, pastor of Noble Hill Baptist Church. |
